New Installation in Milan

Freshly installed desk Church In the middle of September, LE-AL was very proud to have had 4 of our people installing our executive furniture into the offices of a major international bank in Milan, Italy. They endured a mini-heatwave in Milan with temperatures reaching 28 degrees, so all came back having lost quite a few pounds in weight, having installed the furniture on the third floor of the building!

We are happy to have our own people – very often the people who have built it – install our furniture, anywhere in the world, thus ensuring that the quality we apply in our manufacturing processes extends to the final day of hand over to our customers.

LE-AL Exports

Manufacturing in the UK is tough particularly in this economic climate. As the supply chain to the public sector begins to feel the bite all businesses are being urged to develop their export markets. LE-AL Furniture Ltd have been exporting across the world for over 25 years now. We are proud to say that during our financial year 2010 some 65% of all our sales were Exported. We thank our dealers in Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Russia, France and Germany for their continued business and support.

Price Increase Notification

LE-AL has managed to absorb repeated increased costs of materials, fuel and business expenses now for just over two years. Our last price increase was in fact implemented on 1st April 2009!

During these two years we have all seen the escalating costs experienced by all manufacturers across the world. Whilst some of these increases have been modest others such as leather, real wood veneeer, stains, lacquers, hardware and fuel oil have rocketed ahead of inflation particularly over the last twelve months.

LE-AL set out a policy two years ago to improve efficiency and productivity as part of our committment to provide excellent customer service values, maintain the highest standards of product quality and retain our dealer discount structure.

We are grateful to all our customers across the world who have continued to support our business throughout the turbulant times of the past 27 months.

Unfortunately we now find that we have no alternative but to increase our Recommended Retail Prices by 9%. This increase will be applied on all new proposals, enquiries and quotations issued after 1st July 2011.
