Library Reconfigurable Tables – 16th Century College – Yorkshire

Configured as a Single TableConfigured as a Single TableConfigured as Separate Tables

The library of this listed building was scheduled for a full refurbishment. The Governors were keen to maintain the atmosphere of the library whilst injecting a modern twist to enhance the classical design. The use of Macasser veneers for these eight reconfigurable tables was a leap of faith for the college. The images demonstrate that the gamble paid off! These six tables can be unclipped and separated for syndicate use or fitted together to optimise flexibility of space utilisation. The chairs of course are polished to match the tables.
